What We Do

Arnette House, Inc. provides safe and effective programs for youth and families in Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus & Hernando Counties. Our caring and dedicated staff provide a secure environment for young people to develop skills and knowledge that positively impact their lives. We offer residential and non-residential programs that are free of charge to families.

Our Goals and Objectives:
  1. Keep families together by providing help before situations get out of control.
  2. To strengthen the family unit, which prevents youth from becoming delinquent or involved in the Foster Care system.
  3. Act as an early intervention at the front end of the Juvenile Justice System.

Residential Services

Arnette House provides Emergency Shelter services for youth ages 10 – 17 who are runaways, lock-outs, abandoned, homeless, truant, or experiencing parent/child conflict.

Community Counseling Program

Our master’s level counselors utilize various methods to provide counseling sessions to children aged 6-17.

SNAP® Program

SNAP® is a 13-week course that helps children showing early signs of behavior problems and their parents learn how to communicate better as a family unit.

Group Homes

The Residential Group Homes provide services to youth ages 13-17 who are in need of long-term foster care placement.
