In this season of thanksgiving, we are grateful for David, our maintenance technician, who is retiring after 24 years of service at Arnette House!💚

David's hard work and resourcefulness have kept our five buildings running smoothly all these years. In addition to his maintenance duties, David developed and taught our on-site vocational program! Together with the youth, he built tiny houses, campers, and outdoor kitchens, which were raffled or auctioned off to help raise funds for Arnette House. Through David's leadership, he taught hundreds of youth essential self-sufficiency skills!

David, thank you for your service, craftsmanship, and patience. We appreciate the pride you put into everything you do. We hope you enjoy this next chapter of your life, spending time in your personal workshop and on the golf course!

Every year, we work around the clock to make sure all of our clients in need can have the holiday they deserve! This year, we have seen an increase in children and their families who need some extra support.

Can you be the one to help?

If you or your company can sponsor a child this holiday season, send us a message or contact Morgan at mnebel@arnettehouse.org!

A huge thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement Store #1855 (E. Silver Springs Blvd) for volunteering at our emergency shelter today! Their team worked diligently, painting the emergency shelter lobby and hallways, and replacing rotted wood and mulching in the playground area.

Not only did the team dedicate their time, but Lowe's also generously covered the costs of all the supplies and materials!

What a difference they made in just a few hours! 💚
