There are many reasons children and families might need counseling. Children may struggle to follow rules at home or school, or they may exhibit behavior that concerns their parents. Many kids need help when something big changes in their lives, like when parents get divorced, when the family moves to a new place, or when someone they love dies.
We help children ages 6 to 17 learn new ways to handle their big feelings. Our counselors use different methods to help each child, because every kid is different. Some kids like to talk, while others like to draw pictures or play games to share their feelings. We work with each child to find what helps them the most.
Our master’s level counselors are available to meet at the Arnette House office or in schools throughout Lake and Marion County.
